TURCK Takes Top Honors in 2009 Readers' Choice Awards

TURCK won top honors in two categories in this year’s Control Design Readers’ Choice Awards, along with being represented in several other categories.

With a 35% share of the votes, TURCK was the clear winner in the INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIAL CONNECTORS/CORDSETS category; the second runner-up in this category received only 17% of the votes.

TURCK was also No. 1 in the PRESENCE SENSING category with 19% of the votes.

TURCK was No. 2 in the INTRINSIC SAFETY COMPONENTS category, and tied with three other companies for 3rd place in the INDUSTRIAL NETWORK COMPONENTS – WIRED category. TURCK also tied for 5th place in the MEASUREMENT, PRESSURE category.

For its study, Control Design polls 15,000 machine-builder and system-integrators.  Respondents are also asked to rank a company’s service and support, for which TURCK received a “very good” to “excellent” rank in the following categories:

• Connectors/Cordsets
• Presence Sensing
• Wired Network Components
• Intrinsic Safety Systems
